Author Bio

Sheri Cobb South is the bestselling author of more than twenty-five books. Her John Pickett series of humorous and romantic Regency mysteries was featured on USA Today’s book blog, and has won several awards, including the 2021 Colorado Author’s League Award of Excellence, albeit not for mystery, for which it was also a finalist; Brother, Can You Spare a Crime? won the Action/Adventure category! Audiobook awards include the 2020 Independent Audiobook Award for Best Mystery (Into Thin Eire) as well as four Earphones Awards from AudioFile magazine. Her Regency romances include the critically acclaimed The Weaver Takes a Wife and its sequels, the last of which (The Desperate Duke) won the 2019 Colorado Authors League Award for Romance. Her novels have been translated into half a dozen languages, published in large-print editions, and recorded by the Library of Congress for its Books for the Blind program. She enjoys traveling (especially research trips to England, which she can write off her taxes!), fine needlework, musical theatre and classic films, and singing in her church choir. While researching English banking and coinage for Brother, Can You Spare a Crime?, she developed an interest in collecting Regency and late Georgian coins. A native of Alabama, she has lived with her husband in Colorado since 2011.
