Welcome to Dragonblade Publishing’s

The "Write Track” Writers Competition

Thank you for submitting your work to our contest, and congratulations on this achievement. We wish you the best of luck in the next round. Keep an eye on your email next week from our Director of Operations with further details.
For those that have submitted and didn’t place, please don’t get discouraged. While your entry did not place in the finals, we want to encourage you to continue writing and pursuing your passion for storytelling. We believe that every writer has the potential to create something great, and we hope that you will continue to hone your craft and try again next year.
Sponsored by Dragonblade Publishing, The “Write Track” (formerly “The Write Stuff”) Competition is an annual quest to find great talent and reward excellence. Both new and established authors are encouraged to participate for a grand prize of $1,000 and a publishing contract with Dragonblade Publishing.

What are we looking for?

Historical Romance!

Historical Romance is defined as any type of romantic story taking place from World War II and earlier. Dragonblade Publishing is a boutique publisher, meaning we specialize in Historical Romance and we’re always looking for fresh, new voices and unique stories.
But this isn’t just ‘any’ writing contest. The top six finalists will have an opportunity to participate in a novella bundle, published by Dragonblade Publishing. That means that even if you don’t place in the top four, you will still have the opportunity to publish a novella with Dragonblade. The cross-promotion value is limitless with one of your stories published and sold on major platforms, all with the backing and marketing power of Dragonblade Publishing.
